From the most southern region of New Zealand, hails Roxanna Zamani. She grew up surrounded by the love of traditional hand crafts taught by her kiwi Mother. Days were filled with beautiful baking smells wafting from the kitchen while watching her Mother sew. She saw heart and soul in every creative endeavour and developed a love of the arts.

While finishing a Fine Arts Degree majoring in Textile Design at the Otago Polytechnic, Roxanna completed various night class papers at the Fashion School situated over the bank. It was here that she honed her skills, felt inspired and fell in love with Design. Roxanna preceded to enrol full time to complete her Fashion Design degree over two years. One year into her fashion studies, Roxanna was selected to attend the prestigious fashion school, Istituto Di Milano. It was here where she learnt fundamental design skills that pushed her to think outside the box and take on a new creative approach to her work. 

She has been the recipient of a slew of design awards: Selected to present her work in Trieste, Italy as part of a select few in the prestigious Mittelmoda Fashion Awards. Where she went on to win the Wedding Italian Style Award for her work. Winner of the FashionTV Oceania Online Designer Awards, where her collection was described as ‘conceptual and beautifully crafted’. 

Roxanna has had the opportunity to exhibit her work at Milan Fashion Week, Perth Fashion Festival and the ID Emerging Fashion Awards and ID Fashion Shows.

Previously interning with eponymous label Karen Walker and UK designer Christopher Kane and working in Milan, Roxanna returned to New Zealand to develop her own brand.
